King Tormax Dead!

The King of Kael goes Duck Hunting with Kurt Cobain

Another day, another first on The Nameless.  King Tormax, king of the Giants and all around cacksugging mo faka, lover of HGS, met his maker, courtesy of Legacy of Steel this evening.  I *believe* this is only the second time King Tormax has been killed across all EQ servers, the first being by Afterlife.  But AL used super-gnome Wendolyn (a borderline exploit some might say).  So we are proud to say that King Tormax dying tonight was the first GNOME-free assassination of the royal head-honcho.  Of course I am probably wrong and will have to face 20 know-it-all bastards bitching me out how their l33t guild on some other server has killed Tormax 10 times, etc etc.

So I now present to you the new Kings Of Kael:

The fight was intense.  We've been discussing this strategy for months.  Tonight we put it into action.  Here's one of the few screenshots I took of the fight:

We actually got TWO of those Rings of Jizm.  They went to Ozus and Nyannyan.  The Boots were awarded to Ariel and the bracer went to Genjiro.  King Tormax's head was awarded to Polyphemus which he then turned into Yelinak for a Sword of Extreme Lameness.  Tormax also dropped my class 2 arrow which I handed him last week.  We're still fighting over the arrow.  I'll get back to you on that one.

Fool Klandicar died for the first time on The Nameless today.  Being a Dragon-alligned guild, we found Ol' Klandicar smiling warmly at us.  But it's just so hard to pass this monkey-faced leezurd without wanting to stab him a few thousand times.  Kind of funny that Klandicar was the first and only dragon LoS has ever unleashed it's wrath on in Western Wastes.  So the minute this foolman dies, I con a passing Wurm on CoV faction -- warmly.  Anyway, loot on Klandicar is kind of a let down considering this ugly mo faka is one of the "First Brood" dragons.  Check out his drops:

Well, congrats Uggly on the Sleeper's Key (Kland's Talis).  Like the headline says, we also killed Zlandicar again today.  I could have sworn I took a screenshot but apparently I didn't because my harddrive is filled with nothing but stalkers. . .no dead Zland pics (not counting the 10 gigs of porn).  Oh well, I think you'll live.  Loot was good off of Zland.  Sleeper's Key for Sinah, First Brood Talisman for Genjiro, Heart for Yvin, Frakadar's Talisman for Moca, Claw for Joboba. . prolly some other junk I am forgetting.

That's all for today.  I am engrossed in the Ten Commandments at the moment.  Filmmaking at it's finest.  I keep waiting for Moses to scream, "SOILENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!!!"  Ok and now to the stalkers, tons of freaks today.  We were waiting to raid Friday night and the damned servers came down, most likely for an update of HGS.  Anyway, because of that there are a ton of these sickos.

We hammered the Dain harder than a Clinton Intern tonight.  I think we only had two deaths.  In any event, beating this Dorf like a stray dog is becoming addicting.  Too bad all those poofs early on made us forget about the lil bastard.  He's been dropping damned nice loot for us so far too.  Tonight he dropped TWO crowns and this cloak, which is new to the Nameless:

The cloak went to Zeek, with Adorean and Xandralia both proudly wearing new, ownage crowns.  I ninja looted the head.  Now, I had asked around some and was told that to do the quest you only needed indifferent faction.  I tried to put together a group to help me clear out some giants to get to ol' Tormax.  Unfortunately, no one was in the mood (funny how no one is in the mood when the shield guy isn't up).  Well, luckily Kaemon was the hero of the night.  He came to Kael, stood on King T's throne and summoned me.  So I was standing there behind Tormax thinking, "If I hand him this head and nothing happens. . .I'ma be Numero Uno on a lot of shitlists."  With palms a-sweating I handed King T (who on a good day, scowls at me, ready to attack) the head of Dain Fleshbeater.  Luckily, unlike my 8th Coldain ring, I managed to not fuck this quest up beyond recognition.  Felt really nice putting this bad-boy on tonight:

Did I mention that before the Dain, we killed Cazic? And Draco?  And every other mob in Fear?

CT Frying Chicken with Colonel Sanders

CT dropped, yes you guessed it, the Cloak and the Choker.  This week's award winners were Arlos and Hammyr.  Draco dropped the shield which Barny got and the bracer which Gandalfina is now wearing.  What a night. . .Fear cleared, CT dead, Dain dead. . .all in under 5 hours.

We also added two new members to the roster tonight.  Dunken Dorf and Yvin.  We put 'em both through hell and back to get in.  It's nice to have them both aboard.
