Thank you all for making the Norrath such a splendid place.  Thanks for sharing all the glories and all the laughs.  There were plenty of both to be had, and for that I am eternally grateful.  I was fortunate enough to go from the rogue who delivered milk in Oasis to make money for a Dragoon Dirk, to the Assassin who saw virtually every zone in the game, fought the majority of mobs who roamed the land and was able to stand over quite a few notable corpses.  Well, I never did get to see the Plane of Mischief, but that's where fallen halfling rogues go, right?  I will just have to be happy being laid to rest with the Sleeper.  More than anything, I leave with the pride of knowing that I wore the guildtag <Legacy of Steel>, simply the most amazing group of asskickers that ever was assembled.  It was a marvelous journey. . .thank you all.

Velketor Down Again

I'd write more about the Velk battle but I just got back from the eye doctor and staring at this screen is like staring into the sun.  He dropped the chanter rod, the useless shield and the Wiz robe.  We killed Freeti Monk too.  Here's some pics of that before I go blind:

Freeti Monk dropped the Twink Axe (Called the Twink Axe because even a level 1 can proc the 140 DD).  He dropped this ring too:

Kind of odd how Freeti Monks drops are almost better than Velketors. . .

In other news, Polyphemus finished the Wolf Caller's Breastplate Quest.  I could be wrong but I think he was the first to finish this quest:

A Mystery No More

Lepithida, Tavekalem, Krigara, Casalen, Grozzmel and Ymmeln all met their death for the first time today

Temple of Veeshan. . .a.k.a. Veeshan's Peak meets the Plane of Sky.  So we delved into the depths of the Halls of Testing to seek out named mobs.  Was a very successful night.  We killed 6 of the 7 named mobs who call the Halls of Testing their home.  The only two we left up were Dozekar the Assrapist and one other named drake which we simply didn't have time to get to.  Rumor was that the armor drops in the HoT had been upped to almost 75%.  Well, this is total bullshit.  Our first 15 mobs or more, we didn't event get 100pp combined.  BUT, then we started getting some drops.  The highlights being a Plate Breastplate that was awarded to Marck and a Chain Breastplate that went to Polyphemus.  Other armor drops included a caster bracer, plate bracer, caster gloves, caster legs and some other stuff I'm sure I am forgetting.

Well, since to my knowledge no one has really seen let alone killed any of these mobs, here are some pictures for ya:

Ok, getting back to ToV. . .here's the "loot" we got.  Wish I could post some finish quest but apparently these mo faka drakes will have to be killed a number of times before that happens.  They didn't respawn at the normal frequency either ;) (that'll save me about 10 conversations tomorrow with level 1 randoms).
