Dragon-Free Necropolis

Zlandicar Crooning with Frank Sinatra

Since I managed to piss off a fair amount of people with my "tasteless" and "out of line" reference to Payne Stewart last week, I decided to make it my personal mission to attempt to offend everyone.  So please keep checking back and if you feel that you have been wronged in some way, either thank your local Payne Stewart fan or else visit this link to file an official complaint.

But I am off topic.  Zlandicar died today.  Was one of our smoothest raids to date with a few exceptions.  First off, Uggly had LD'd in ToV last night and couldn't get back on.  He knew he would need a necro to summon him when he logged back in.  Apparently, when Xandralia and Necrath went to get Uggly, they didn't realize that some druid was attempting to solo Wyverms from the sacred area out at the four way interesection.  Crogon was that you?  Nah, couldn't have been. . .=P

Once that delay was over, we were all set to charge.  I pull the final rat.  Check mana one last time.  Start typing, "/shout Charge. . ." boom. . .computer freezes. . . Well, anyway, I logged in just in time to spend my discipline on whooping Zland in the ass a few times.  It was a good victory for us though.  Like I have been mentioning, we lost a lot of people recently.  We are in a re-building mode right now.  So to rally together and whoop Zland's ass with no doubt that we were going to beat him made for a good night.

Loot was the usual Zland Heart, Zland Talisman, Frakadar Talisman, Gloves of Mortality.  We also got one of these for Falis. . .something we'd never seen before:

After Zland it was time to help Dinamas with his epic.  To the boat!

Killing Faydedar is like blasting a shotgun into a barrel of fish. . .

Also been working on finishing more armor quests.  Haven't seen this posted anywhere so I thought I'd post 'em here.

Meggan so power~

A new segment for you all today.  I like to call it:

And Leon's Getting Laaaaaarger . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Monday, March 26, 2001 --  tigole

Today we have the non-update.  No big corpses for you to look at today.  That doesn't mean we haven't been busy.  Spending more time in the Temple of Veeshan.  Went through the Halls of Testicles a couple times tonight.  First time we have seen the named drakes up in a week.  Killed all those poosae mo fakas again.  But those quest items leave us wondering, is this just Plane of Sky bank crap, Part II?  We really hope not.  With the upcoming multi-quest nerf, our Halls of Testing quest items could become the major, unlubed shaft of century.  Hoping to make that suck-ass, Dozekar, bite the dust soon.  I was really hoping we could try him tonight.  Unfortunately, as it always works, by the time we were ready to go we had 26 in the zone, 4 of which were going LD on every pull.  We have a couple of strats up our sleeves for ol' Dozekar.  Can't wait to see what actually works.  Of course, it's profoundly disappointing that he does not deathtouch because we'd love to send Desp in for that. . .

So while we did not get many drops tonight, we did get good drops.  Two pairs of chain legs and a pair of plate legs.  Brionca was able to complete the Shadow Greaves quest.  Check 'em out:

In other news, I am most proud to welcome our newest member Rhap Shindigger.  Hopefully Rhap wont get so drunk that he forgets to loot his corpse before pulling.  That was the first sign of his l33t skills I ever witnessed, way-back-when in South Karana.  I remember the cleric saying to me, "This was a perfectly good group until you two hobbits showed up."

That's it for the quick non-update.  More to come soon.  Because I feel bad for not including the usual stalkers, freaks and quotes. . .I figured I'd give you all this link to an oldie yet goodie.

Cazic Dead Again

Fear the Brown Frown

Got a chance to kill ol' Cazic Tool for the second time last night.  Once again, the battle was a blast.  Big dumb god o' Fear only dropped two items though. . .kinda feels like the short end of the stick.  Oh well, at least they were nice items:

The choker went to Arlos and the Pauldrons are now worn by that goddess we've all come to know as Joboba.

Apologies for the lack of updates this week.  I've been busy as hell all week.  Also as a guild, we've been trying to take it semi-easy lately.  We lost a lot of people around the same time I took a break.  Couple that with Spring Break, and well, many folks just aren't online.  Of course we don't sit around doing nothing.  We cleared the Halls of Testing in Temple of Veeshan a few times this week.  I am now back to loving this zone.  Yes, yes, I am a hypocrite.  Honestly the zone has been tweaked since we first started doing it.  It's really fun now -- gasp.  Here are some newly completed armor quests we've finished:

Poly not l33t with Photoshop like me, apparently. . .

In other news, we added a new member this week.  Falis is the newest member of the Evil Empire known as Legacy of Steel.  Very glad to have him aboard.  Also, we finished some more epic quests this week, getting Ragebringers for Rhap and Danuvin.
